I saw this recipe in Louisiana Cooking magazine for Blackberry-Bourbon Boston Butt (love the alliteration!). We're having some friends over tonight to watch The Mavericks live concert on TV (AXS), and realized we would have to eat something. So, the butt had it's massage and injection yesterday and spent the night in the fridge. On to the Egg at 8am for it's sauna treatment for about 8 hours or until the master thinks it's done.
Also have some Peanutty Coleslaw (Louisana Kitchen & Culture magazine) to put together, slider buns and I'm going to make some crushed potatoes later. And toffee for dessert.
Mavericks and Martinis tonight! Can't wait!!
I'll try to remember to take a photo. Hope it looks as good as the one in the magazine. Actually, just hope it tastes as good as the one looks in the magazine.
