Western cut pork ribs is what I felt like for this Sat. BBQ. First I put together some made from scratch BBQ sauce. Canned tomatoes, blend of pickling spices, brown sugar, mollasses, chopped onion, minced garlic, and chopped fresh ginger. Got that simmering on the stove. Did not have any fresh sliced pineapple to chop and add to the pot. OOH OOH, I will use my Misses dried pineapple, that she uses for baking instead. Glad that light bulb went off. For the veggi I made yellow squash, crimmini mushroom, and red onion kabobs ahead of time. I used Good Seasonings Herb Garlic Dressing for the marinade again. We all know the next step. "The Roasted Red Pepper Saga" continues on Apple chunks. Mr Pork is getting a good sear on direct before going indirect. The Misses wanted another foil pack of spuds augatin. JimZ's BBQ sauce is waiting its turn while the pork indirect cooks awhile. I did add some bay leaf from our yard to the sauce. Slathered the sauce on the pork and kept flipping them over till tender. I closed the lid in between flips to keep them cooking slow. Can not forget the veggi kabobs! In conclusion the pork was good, sauce very good. Might have been my mood. The kabobs and spuds stood out on my taste buds. Still, all was yum -JimZ

Very nice meal Jim!!! That sauce is killer looking and I think we should swap some homemade sauces in the future. I'm sending you a point for such a great cook. ;D
