What a hard decision to make today for my pork loin bbq. Nate gave me three of his rubs and I had to decide which one to use. First I tasted one and another and another and another and another . Crap they were all good. So it was one potato, two potato time. Well I chose the untamed for the rub. Mr Loin is stuffed with garlic and jalepeno. Added nothing else on the out side because I wanted to taste just the rub. Rubbed Miss Piggy and fresh kielbasa make a nice couple. Had to use pecan, apple, and cherry chunks. I did not realize I was on empty. Did not forget to buy a red bell this week. Whoopie!! My grates are falling apart. Lost a few more pieces today. But the Q goes on. Things are looking happy dere! Time for the spud halves. A little heavy on the hot Hungarian Paprika, yum. Took the roast off at 145deg, covered with tin foil to rest. Looks good to me, juicy not over done. With that had some toasted bread and home made coleslaw. Now time to critique Nate's rub. I would give it 10 crawfish tails. The flavour seems like it went into the meat and not just lay on top. Good balance of ing. Thanks Nate. Nate let me know a day ahead of time and I'll bring you a sammie to the job site. That rub made the meal ;D ;D ;D -JimZ

Thats great jimz. Looks good and I bet there were some good sammies from that. I used some of Nates rubs today and they were both very good.
