Well, it's going to be a busy weekend here. I will probably end up at work for a good bit of it. It looks like it might be a good weekend for doing a little freezer diving or maybe going out to eat. I'm pretty sure I have a rack of ribs and some pulled pork foodsaved. We'll see, a good seafood platter sounds pretty good too.
What-ch'all cookin' and eatin' this weekend?

I just made one of my eat alone fav's. (I'm out in the shop/shed/office) 16oz cup, 1/2 T Tony C's, bit of garlic, slight pour/drizzle of liq crab boil(zats), soy sauce, worchest, and enough water to cover 8 frozen raw shrimp(16-25 size, iirc), microwave for 2:30 and let sit. eat with the "broth", brings the lips alive. For lunch I flew my parents to salina, ks(about 155nm) to see my aunt and my instructor and I (get'n my complex & HP in a bonanza) ate at a great chinese place on 9th.....hong kong buffet(original, eh). It was fantastic. I get to pick my parents up again sunday, might just have to hit that place again. Have a good weekend, be safe out there on the east coast.

Last night we met some friends at a local Italian restaurant I picked up about 10 lbs of Boneless Chuck on sale y'day, so will cut some Chuck Eye Steaks and grind the rest for burgers, which will be on the menu for tonight. Thinking some kind of fish on the grill for Sunday.

Sundays are Fundays, kids and unexpecteds come over, we sit and cook on my Primo and BGE. This Sunday is, marinated rib eyes, a couple filets, sum shramps, a few pizza's, grilled corn, roasted garlic, maybe a few yeller squash. I may even light up my Smoking Tex and cold smoke some pepperjack cheese today to add to the salad tomorrow. ( Notice, no mention of sides cooked in the house, if mama is happy on sunday, we be happy ALL WEEK LONG .....jus saying )

New Orleans BBQ Shrimp The BBQ Shrimp I made came out great. The only problem was that they were so big that you couldn't eat too many of them. My wife made a shrimp fettuccine and nice salad that made for a nice meal. You have to make this dish with the heads on to maximize the flavor extraction from the shrimp.
