Back to making some bread. Made the starter Saturday and looking good Sunday morning. 1 cup whey, 1 cup white whole wheat flour and a pinch of yeast. Lots of little bubbles in the bowl. Dough ball is made and looking good. In the 7 qrt bowl to see how high it rises. A couple of hours later and the dough is kissing the top of the plastic wrap. Fast forward. Made the loaves and let them proofed and I slashed them before going in the oven. Bread is done and out the hot box cooling. Monday morning time for a taste test. Came out pretty good and tastee. Nice chewy crust and a soft crumb. Yum!
