Had a party to go to Saturday were every one brings lot and lots of food. Seeing that the host is part Italian, I thought I would make some seed bread. Again, I used the King Arthur Ciabatta Roll recipe with a few tweaks. The liquid in the starter was pineapple juice and in the final dough I used beer. Funny both loaves weighed the same, and came from the same dough ball, but one poofed up more then the other, after shaping and proofing. Wens. made the starter, Thurs. made the bread dough, and Fri. made the bread. Out the oven and cooling. I sliced and brought the better looking loaf to the party. The one on the left side. And for my sandwiches I sliced the one on the right. Came out pretty good. Crust is good and got a soft crumb. Made a burger for a taste test last nite. Good sammie.

That's some great looking bread Jim!!!!! Wouldn't you know it? As soon a I get a deal on a good flour and get in the mood for making bread some people here decided to go on a diet. I'd most likely be the only one eating bread. I'm trying to be a good supporter and eat most of the same food they are eating but I don't know how long I can hold out! Lol.........

Thanks, Nate. Bread ain't fattening. It also freezes well. Make your self some bread. Your last loaves looked just like what my Mother made. Just beautiful.
