Well Georgia you got me in the mood to make some sour dough bread. I use KA sour dough starter and their recipe for Rustic Sour Dough Bread. Here are the loaves out the oven. Got one loaf sliced up for lunch sammies. The second loaf I shared with a coworker. Georgia thanks for the inspire-JimZ

Very nice loaves Jim! Those slices look like pound cake. I'm thinking this weekend will be perfect for making some bread here too. Point!!!!

Hey, Jim! Great minds think alike. I have KA sourdough starter from about 10 years ago. I've shared it with several people, neglect it, and it keeps coming back! I also use KA flour and the same recipe you did. Have you ever been to the KA store in Vermont? A baker's heaven. I bought a bunch of stuff and had it shipped home because we were flying...where there's a will, there's a way!

Thanks Nate. Make that bread big guy. Georgia, never had the chance to make it up to KA. Glad you had the chance. I had my starter about 5yrs. All my flours are KA, thanks Winn Dixie. That Rustic Sour Dough is one of my favorite bread recipes. Home made bread rules ;D ;D ;D -JimZ PS: except for Maple Street Pasterie. Ziggy is the best!

Nate, Ziggy makes excellent ciabatta. He also make hamburger rolls for commercial customers. See if he will sell you some. Tell him I sent you.
