Zuppardoes had some beautiful London Broils at $3.99lb. So I picked one up to barbi Saturday night. I first rubbed with Kosher salt and course ground black pepper and let that sit for a while. I then slathered my homemade Tabasco sauce all over and let sit again. The marinade that it went into was olive oil, lime juice, chopped garlic, chopped fresh ginger, brown sugar, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. What a beautiful day it was last night. I bought these apple chucks at Academy Sports. Nice big chunks in that bag On to the flame first, then inderect after Time to take the meat off to rest for slicing and put the cheeze on the zukes and put the bread on to warm up. That roast came out medium rare. Had some adjus in the freezer to make mushroom gravy. Now I have to make some kimmelwick rolls for left overs. :)JimZ

Very nice cook JimZ!! Looks like you've earned your first Exalt of Karma. Look under your name on the left. That's a good point for a job well done.

Nice real Nice. Did you put a tenderizer on it first? If not it really looks tender.

rh, I did not use a tenderizer. I was just lucky to find this guy at Zuppardoes staring at me, saying take me to your Barbie lol. Yes it was very tender. I also find that when you slice it across the grain, try that slice. Turn it over and slice across the grain again and try that piece. I might be nutty but one piece will be more tender than the other, even though they are both cut across the grain from the same end. thanks every one for the compliments-JimZ the Gourmet Pecan
