I was going to make just a plain bread. I made yogurt cheese earlier in the week and I used the whey for all of the liquid in the bread. I thought caraway and dill seed would go well with the whey. Made the starter Friday, dough Saturday, and bread Sunday. My normal bread making game plan. Sunday afternoon I have the loaves formed, final rise, and slashed. Ready for the oven. In and out the oven and looking good. Monday morning time for a taste test. Not going to complain. The heal of the bread was very good with some room temp butter. Nice crumb and crust.

If they taste anywhere near as good as they look, they must be out of this world! Very attractive bread, there, Jim!

Bread looks great as usual! I finally made some sourdough bread which came out not so great. The first rise was beautiful. When I made it into two loaves it didn't rise as much. I baked it and they deflated and came out dry and dense.
